Connaught has three registered Club Coaches, David Shepherd, Wendy Coldham and Gwen Sims trained and certified by the English Bowls Coaching Scheme. All these coaches have attended a workshop on the Child Protection Act.

Whilst there are no set times for coaching all new bowlers are offered the Instruction Course for Beginners prescribed by the English Bowls Coaching Scheme and all bowlers are encouraged to arrange individual tuition, on a one to one basis, whenever they feel in need of help.
