The Bowls Club - Dress Code

Connaught has recognised that today's busy lifestyle is best served by allowing members to dress in a more relaxed manner on the green. Consequently the club allows a relaxed dress code on the following occasions:

GENTLEMEN
Internal Leagues
White shirt (not a "T" shirt) with or without tie.
Plain mid grey trousers with grey socks, or white knee length shorts and long socks.

Casual Play and Roll-Ups
As for Internal Leagues or smart casual wear (not "T" shirts, patterned shirts or jeans).

LADIES
Internal Leagues and Roll-Ups
White or cream sensible top, with or without sleeves or collar.
White or cream skirt, culottes or shorts of at least knee length or white or cream trousers, tracksuit bottoms or "pedal-pushers".
Until June 1st, grey may be worn below the waist.

At all other times dress must conform to the current County and National Rules.
There is a club shirt (green and yellow) which is worn for men's representative matches.
