The Gym @ Connaught is a small firendly
gym with an atmosphere that welcomes the first time gym user
regardless of age, weight or fitness.
There are no posers, no bodybuiders and no fancy leotards.
The Gym however has a full range of cardio-vascular equipment,
resistance weight machines and a set of free weights.
We offer help and advice with training programmes to suit
your level of fitness and to enable you to achieve your aims.
For the more committed, we have a number of personal
trainers, both male and female, who offer specialised
training and nutritional advice on a one to one basis. All
the trainers are fully qualified with years of experience
between them.
We also offer a limited number of pilates classes with a
qualified coach. This form of excercise targets the real core
strength of the body and will make a huge difference to every
aspect of your training. It is particularly helpful to anybody
with bad posture and will rebalance and reshape your whole
body.
A number of membership
options are available for both members and non-members of
the Connaught Club. We also try to keep life as simple as
possible with no joining fees.
